Please do not include private promise or ledger content unless it is necessary to explain the issue.

Typical response time: 2–3 business days.

Free and Unlimited access

Ownword is free for up to 3 ongoing promises.

An ongoing promise is:

Archived promises do not count toward the free limit.

Unlimited Promises is a one-time In-App Purchase. It is not a subscription.

Restore a purchase

Use Restore Purchase when Unlimited was bought previously with the same Apple Account.

1. Open Settings in Ownword.

2. Tap Unlimited Promises.

3. Tap Restore Purchase.

4. Wait while Apple verifies the purchase.

Restoring a purchase does not charge you again.

If Unlimited does not restore:

Purchases, billing, and refunds

All Ownword purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Ownword does not receive your card details and cannot directly issue App Store refunds.

For billing history, purchase issues, or refund requests, use Apple’s purchase-support and Report a Problem services.

What does “Settle balance” mean?

A pledge in Ownword is a symbolic personal note.

“Settle balance” closes the open record in your local ledger. It does not:

The Unlimited purchase and pledge balances are completely separate.

Reminders are not appearing

Ownword uses one local daily notification.

Check:

1. Open Ownword Settings and enable Daily reminder.

2. Choose the reminder time.

3. Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Ownword.

4. Confirm Allow Notifications is enabled.

5. Check Focus modes, Scheduled Summary, and notification-silencing settings.

Ownword does not use server push notifications.

Where is my data stored?

Promise and ledger information is stored locally on your device.

Ownword currently has:

Your iPhone or Apple backup settings may independently include app data in a device backup.

Moving to a new device

Ownword does not provide its own cross-device sync.

Your data may transfer through Apple’s device migration or backup/restore process, depending on your Apple and iOS settings. We cannot guarantee or manually restore this data.

Unlimited access can be restored separately through Apple using Restore Purchase.

Delete a promise or local data

To delete one promise, open its ledger and use the action menu.

To remove Ownword’s local app data from the device, delete the Ownword app.

Deleting the app may not remove copies contained in Apple or device backups controlled by you.
