Ownword is intentionally small. That includes the fine print.
Does a pledge charge real money?
No. Pledge amounts are symbolic personal notes. Ownword never charges, collects, transfers, or donates money when you miss or settle a promise.
What counts toward the free limit?
Active and automatically paused promises count as ongoing. Archived promises do not. You can use up to three ongoing promises for free.
What happens if I miss several days?
Ownword carries up to seven unattended days, then pauses the promise automatically. You can resume it when you are ready.
Can Ownword recover my data?
Ownword does not run its own cloud or account system, so we cannot view or recover your ledger. Apple device migration or backups may transfer app data depending on your settings.
Is Unlimited a subscription?
No. Unlimited Promises is a single, non-consumable In-App Purchase with lifetime access.
